From Catherine Davis of the Eames Foundation: ”Each year, only on Members Appreciation Day, the Eames Foundation invites its members to experience a very special opportunity: to tour the ground floor of the Eames House and Studio. This is your chance to experience the House as a guest, and to mingle with other Eames aficionados and Eames family members. This year’s celebration is on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013, from 1:00 to 6:00 pm.”
“Join us also for a panel discussing the 250 Year Project and conservation work on the Eames House (between 2:00 and 4:00 pm). The panel includes participants from the Eames Foundation, the Getty Conservation Institute, and the architects Escher GuneWardena, and will delve into the conservation approach and findings. Enjoy light refreshments (desserts, juices and coffee) as well as an array of creative activities.”
