“Segmented Tables: Exceptional expanses of gleaming Rosewood or Walnut veneers in soft oil finish are available in these round or gently contoured tables because they can be produced in unlimited sizes. The secret of their extended dimensions lies in their supporting structures which consist of special cast aluminum pedestals locked together by means of black enameled columns and stretchers. These stretchers can be of any desired length to effect a continuous web of supporting arms under the table top.
