This chair has charcoal grey "Premium Naugahyde" and a dark grey vinyl edgeband. It was the development of the upholstery covers for the La Fonda chairs that led the Eames Office away from the early removable one piece pad upholstery to this style of upholstery, which was permanently attached to the shell, and held tight by the vinyl edgeband.
