We have not yet found any record in Herman Miller catalogues of the Loose Cushion armchair being offered with no upholstery. We are pleased to have this example to share, and we will continue to research it.
The shell shows no signs of ever having been upholstered, and the loose cushion affixes to the chair in a way to suggest that this chair was purposefully produced in this configuration.
